Jasmin Wölke moderates online events and hybrid formats in English and German: digital town halls, virtual conferences, webinars with several speakers and events that connect a room with a stream. Her craft comes from the stage and from more than ten years in leadership roles at Bosch, SAP and Volkswagen.
Why an online event needs a moderator
An audience in a room forgives a lot. An audience online forgives nothing: the second browser tab is already open the moment the programme stalls. Without moderation, the event turns into a conference call with slides that people listen to with one ear.
A moderator prevents that. She opens in a way that makes people stay, keeps the programme tight, brings questions from the chat onto the stage and gives every speaker a clear frame. At a corporate event like a digital town hall she makes sure leadership speaks and a conversation still happens, not an announcement.
What works differently online and hybrid
Online follows different rules than a venue. Segments have to be shorter, transitions faster, interaction planned instead of left to chance: Q&A from the chat, polls, direct call-outs to individual locations. The moderator works closely with the production and streaming team, keeps time slots to the minute and catches what goes wrong live, from a muted microphone to a speaker who does not appear on screen.
Hybrid events add the hardest task: two groups at once. People in the room must not feel they are watching a TV show; people joining remotely must not become a footnote. Jasmin addresses both, takes questions from both channels and makes remote participants visible instead of letting them just run along.
Experience that carries the format
Hybrid and fully digital event formats are part of Jasmin Wölke's declared portfolio, alongside conferences, galas and panel discussions. The stage experience behind it is documented: she led the International Business Summit across two days with more than 400 participants and 15 sessions, and the SAP Tech Leadership Forum with eight panels in front of over 300 executives entirely in English. These references are in-person events; the craft they prove, dramaturgy, sense of timing and Q&A leadership, is exactly what an online format needs.
Add the corporate perspective: as a Director at Bosch, Jasmin led a team of 100 people across Europe and the Middle East, spread over countries and time zones. She knows distributed meetings and remote internal formats from years of her own practice, from both sides of the screen.
English, German or both in one event
Online events are almost always international because travel is no longer a filter. Jasmin moderates in English, in German or switching between both. At the Bosch Global Sales Summit she hosted three days bilingually with over 500 participants from 40 countries. More on the page English-speaking moderator.
Enquiry for your online event
Send the occasion, date and platform via the contact form. A briefing on programme, interaction, language and technology follows, plus a tech check with the production team and speakers before the date. The three cooperation models are on the services page. For in-person formats, see conference moderation and event moderator; if you are still comparing, the page Book a moderator gives you the overview.
