What makes a summit different

A summit is neither an open congress nor an internal conference. The audience is curated: decision makers, senior leaders, often international guests whom the organiser has invited personally. The programme is condensed, one to three days of keynotes, panels and deliberately planned breaks in which the real business happens: conversations between people who rarely meet otherwise. That raises the bar on stage. In front of this audience every empty phrase is noticed, and a programme item that carries nothing costs the organiser credibility.

What the host contributes to a summit

The summit host is the face and the pacemaker of the format. She opens by making clear why exactly this group is in the room, guides through keynotes and conversations and connects the contributions into one line that allows a real conclusion at the end. Between the blocks she protects the networking time instead of filling it with more programme. Stage interviews and panels with C-level guests need their own preparation: preliminary calls, precise questions and the follow up when an answer stays too smooth. How Jasmin prepares panels is described on the panel discussion page.

Experience with exactly this format

At the Bosch Global Sales Summit, Jasmin guided three days of keynotes, panels and interactive sessions, bilingually for participants from 40 countries. She carried the International Business Summit as lead host, with 15 sessions in front of more than 400 guests. Both projects are listed under references. Added to that is her own corporate career: more than ten years at Bosch in international sales and marketing. She has sat in summit audiences herself and knows when a day was worth it for a decision maker and when it was not.

Language, topics and booking

Many summits run entirely in English, others switch between English and German depending on the guest list. Jasmin hosts both, see the bilingual moderation page. Her home topics are where summits take place today: leadership, transformation, technology and AI, sales and customer experience. If the opening needs a substantive impulse, she can also deliver the keynote and then continue as host. She can be booked across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Frequently asked questions

What does summit moderation cost?
It depends on duration, format and preparation, for example the number of preliminary calls with speakers and panellists. After the briefing you receive a written offer in which every position is listed separately.
Does she host pure leadership summits?
Yes. Leadership topics are her core field, both as a host and as a keynote speaker. She works with audiences of senior leaders regularly, in English and in German.
Does she also do stage interviews with board members?
Yes. One on one interviews and executive talks are part of almost every summit. She prepares them with a preliminary call and her own list of questions, aligned with the organiser but never read off a script.
How does a summit differ from a congress?
A congress is open and broad, with parallel tracks and an exhibition. A summit is curated and compact: fewer participants, a higher share of decision makers, more dialogue formats. Hosting it means less announcing and more conversation.
Does this work for a one day summit too?
Yes. A one day summit needs especially tight guidance, because keynotes, panels and networking have to fit into a few hours. The preparation stays the same as for a multi day format.
How early should the host be confirmed?
As soon as the date and the guest list are set. Summits cluster in spring and autumn, when calendars fill up quickly. Three to six months of lead time is a good measure.
