The Congress Centrum Bremen sits next to the exhibition halls on the Bürgerweide, in the middle of the city and within walking distance of the main station. The ÖVB-Arena next door takes large formats, Die Glocke at the market square hosts conferences with a festive frame, and conference hotels cluster in the city centre and along the Schlachte. The congress season runs in spring and autumn, and one Bremen particularity belongs in every schedule: in October the Freimarkt occupies the Bürgerweide, and space, parking and hotels around the halls become scarce.
