Two kinds of audience at one fair

Leipzig's exhibition centre has a peculiarity: it mixes trade and public fairs. At OTWorld, orthopaedic technology professionals stand at your booth. At denkmal, it is heritage conservation experts. At the book fair, by contrast, you face a broad public with a completely different attention span. The stand programme has to match. Trade visitors want to know within minutes whether the product delivers what the brochure promises. Public visitors stop when something is happening and walk on when nothing is.

Jasmin builds the programme around exactly that question in the briefing: who walks past your stand, and what should that person know after five minutes? The result is a set of fixed slots with demos, short interviews with your experts and Q&A rounds that involve visitors instead of broadcasting at them.

Products that need explaining, words that land

Her strength is products that need explanation. Before the stage, Jasmin spent more than ten years in corporations, most recently as a director at Bosch: she has owned products herself and knows how to translate technology without flattening it. At the Bosch Power Tools Innovation Day, a company reference, she hosted six product launches in one day, with live demos and Q&A with the development team in front of more than 200 guests. The same mechanics carry a stand programme: short blocks, real demonstrations, questions from the audience.

International visitors join without a seam. She switches between English and German on the fly, runs individual slots entirely in English and keeps the stand open to both groups.

How the fair day runs

Before the fair there is a briefing on products, goals and slots, followed by a running order for each day. In the morning Jasmin walks the stand with your team: technology, routes, who comes on when. Between slots she steps back so your sales people lead the conversations, and she collects visitor questions for the next round. The exhibition grounds sit outside the city centre, and she plans her arrival so she is at the stand before the halls open.

Building blocks for your programme are on ideas for the stand programme. The format overview lives on the trade fair host hub, and all references are collected on the reference page.

Frequently asked questions

Does she host full fair days or only single slots?
Both. The usual setup is fixed programme times spread across the day, with the stand in conversation mode in between. For multi-day fairs she also covers the full run.
What does she need from the stand team in advance?
A briefing on products, target groups and stand goals, plus the names of the people available for interviews. She prepares the rest herself and aligns the running order with your team.
Does a stand programme work at a public fair like the book fair?
Yes, with a different cut: shorter blocks, more visibility, less jargon. The goal stays the same, hold visitors and get them talking to your team.
Does she also cover press slots or client evenings around the fair?
Yes. Many exhibitors combine the stand with a client evening in the city centre or a press slot at the booth. One host for both keeps the messages consistent.
What does trade fair hosting in Leipzig cost?
That depends on days, slots and preparation. After the briefing you receive a written offer, with travel and accommodation listed separately.
