Panels between congress hall and fair stage
In Nuremberg, panels often grow out of the big trade fairs. Many congresses dock onto the fair weeks of NürnbergMesse, joined by conferences at the NCC and in the Meistersingerhalle. At Spielwarenmesse, BioFach and embedded world, the audience consists of trade visitors; at embedded world it is developers and technical decision makers. In front of this crowd, any panel that delivers seated welcome speeches fails. The topics are concrete: supply chains, certification, technology paths. The moderator has to be able to follow the discussion on substance, or she is stuck collecting prepared statements.
Preparation you can hear on stage
Before the panel, Jasmin holds a short individual call with each guest. She then knows the positions, the sore points and the places where the group genuinely disagrees. On stage she asks short, concrete questions and lets the guests talk to each other instead of collecting monologues in turn. When an answer gets too smooth, she follows up, friendly and firm. Questions from the floor she bundles so that conversation emerges rather than counter-lectures. She knows formats with executives on an open stage from the SAP Tech Leadership Forum, a corporate event of her client: there too, good rounds came from preparation, not from luck.
Language and line-up
During fair weeks the audience at Nuremberg panels is international, and many rounds run entirely or partly in English. Jasmin moderates both and holds mixed rounds together: question in English, answer in German, the key point secured briefly for everyone. On the line-up, one rule holds: three or four guests with real disagreement beat six guests with the same opinion. From her base near Stuttgart she arrives by train in about two hours, also for a single afternoon panel slot.
