Jasmin Wölke moderates in-house fairs, technology days and trade fair appearances in Linz, in English and in German. The trade fair moderator is based in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, arrives the day before and is ready for the first slot.
An industrial city that prefers to invite
Linz has no classic large exhibition grounds. Trade and public formats run at the Design Center, while the bigger regional fairs traditionally take place in Wels. The city's industrial and software companies have turned this into a pattern of their own: they invite people in. The in-house fair in their own hall, the technology day next to the running plant, the client day at the Tabakfabrik. Companies showing steel technology, plant engineering, chemicals or a software platform prefer to show them where they actually work. These invitation formats need a guided programme. Without a fixed rhythm, the visit drifts between buffet and plant tour. By the end of the day, nobody knows which guest saw what and who is interested in which product. A moderated programme replaces that drift with a sequence every visitor can follow.
Fixed slots, real demonstrations, named handovers
Before the event, Jasmin sits down with product management and sales. Together they decide which benefit becomes visible within a few minutes, what runs live and where a recording steps in. On the day itself she sets the pace: she announces each slot, guides through the demonstration and asks the follow-up questions the guests have on their minds. Afterwards she hands interested visitors over by name to the right contact person. That she can hold a packed schedule is shown by the Bosch Power Tools Innovation Day, a corporate reference with six product launches in a single day. For international industrial customers, in Linz more the rule than the exception, selected slots run in English as planned.
Design Center, factory hall or a booth in Wels
The programme principle stays the same whether the appearance takes place at the Design Center, in the company's own hall or at a booth in Wels or Vienna. Jasmin plans her arrival for the day before and uses the evening for the technical check, especially when stage and sound stand between machines. Ideas for the programme are collected in the article programme ideas for your trade fair booth. The format is described in the hub trade fair moderation, and all local engagements are collected on the Linz city page.
