Jasmin Wölke moderates conferences, galas, corporate events and trade fair programmes in Salzburg, in English and in German. The conference moderator is based in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart and takes on Salzburg assignments with arrival the day before and transparent travel costs.
A city with two calendars
As an event city, Salzburg follows its own rhythm. In summer the festival season shapes the calendar: the city is full, hotels and venues are booked out early, and corporate events either plan around those weeks or secure their dates well in advance. For the rest of the year, the Salzburg Congress in the centre and the exhibition centre in the north carry conferences, congresses and trade fairs, complemented by conference hotels and historic venues such as the Residenz or Schloss Leopoldskron. For organisers from Germany, Salzburg is also the closest Austrian congress city: just across the border and quickly reached from Munich. Whoever plans here needs two things above all, a date secured early and a programme that lives up to the setting.
An economy of retail, brands and tourism
The region is economically denser than the postcard suggests. In and around Salzburg sit the headquarters of major retail groups such as SPAR and dm Austria, Porsche Holding steers its international car trade from here, Palfinger builds lifting technology for the world market, and Red Bull is at home in Fuschl am See, just outside the city. Add a tourism industry that thinks internationally. Events mirror this mix: the townhall of a retail headquarters, the client day of a technology manufacturer with guests from abroad, the anniversary of a family business from the surrounding region. Jasmin moderates German and English in a planned switch. She guided the Bosch Global Sales Summit, a corporate reference with over 500 participants from 40 countries, through a fully international programme.
Travel that never endangers the date
From Ludwigsburg it is around 400 kilometres to Salzburg, and the route runs via Munich, by train or by motorway. For morning slots Jasmin arrives the day before, with the technical check or dress rehearsal fixed for the previous evening. The event day starts without travel risk. Travel costs appear as a separate item in the offer; the article on a moderator's travel costs explains how she handles this. For assignments across the country, see the hub moderator Austria.
