Where Cologne holds its congresses
For a congress with an exhibition, the Congress-Centrum Nord at Koelnmesse offers short paths between plenary hall, exhibition space and side rooms. For a representative opening, the Gürzenich in the city centre is the classic choice. For evening receptions between congress days, the Flora and the Tanzbrunnen are close by. Getting there is one of the city's strengths: the main station sits centrally in the ICE network, and Cologne Bonn Airport brings international participants into town without detours. Cologne congress halls gather the city's industries: media, insurance, retail, gaming, plus science and associations. The Rhineland audience warms up quickly but expects substance. Many congresses run bilingually because speakers and participants come from abroad. Jasmin moderates in German, in English or alternating, without telling content twice. The International Business Summit is a corporate reference, not a Cologne event: it shows the scale she carries as lead moderator across several days.

Congresses plan far ahead: several months of lead time are common, more so near trade fair weeks.
