Jasmin Wölke hosts company celebrations in Duisburg: anniversaries, summer parties, staff festivals and family days, in English and German. With her, the official part stays short, personal and on time.
One workforce, many working worlds
Anyone planning a company celebration in Duisburg rarely invites a homogeneous group. On the same evening, colleagues from shift operations stand next to logistics planners, administration next to apprentices, often joined by partners from international supply chains. A celebration succeeds when nobody feels like a bystander. Jasmin therefore plans the official part from the guests' point of view: who is in the room, what connects the tables, which programme item gives which department its moment. She addresses the shop floor as naturally as the office and keeps the tone that works here: warm, concrete, free of pathos. At the Bosch Global Sales Summit, a corporate reference with over 500 participants from 40 countries, she showed how a mixed audience becomes one room.
The official part: 30 to 45 minutes, no more
A staff festival tips over when the programme devours the party. Jasmin keeps the official part at 30 to 45 minutes: a welcome, one executive speech with an agreed length, a review of the year with faces from the company, and then the evening belongs to the people. For a company anniversary she adds the history of the house, told in stations rather than in dates. Duisburg offers settings to match the occasion: the Gießhalle in the Landschaftspark for the grand entrance, the Innenhafen with spaces by the water for summer, the Mercatorhalle for a festive frame in the city centre. Jasmin knows what such venues demand and aligns running order and technology in advance.
From briefing to the last programme item
Before the celebration come a briefing and a joint running order: programme items, speaking times, handovers, a plan B for weather or delays. On the day itself Jasmin arrives early, walks every appearance through with those involved and keeps the programme flowing, even when the barbecue takes longer than planned. How much stage a summer party can take is covered in hosting a company summer party. The format is explained on the hub page corporate event hosting; all pages for the city are gathered on the Duisburg city page.
