Jasmin Wölke moderates events in Duisburg in German and English: conferences, congresses, corporate events and galas. The conference moderator brings more than ten years of leadership experience from Bosch, SAP and Volkswagen and works across the western Ruhr area.
Steel, port and logistics: the city's audience
Duisburg works where supply chains become concrete. thyssenkrupp Steel Europe is headquartered here, the Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann produce in the south of the city, and the port makes Duisburg a logistics hub on the Rhine. Haniel runs its family holding from Ruhrort, Klöckner & Co and Grillo stand for trade and metals, while the University of Duisburg-Essen and the Fraunhofer IMS shape research. Anyone planning a conference, a town hall or a customer day here has control room, logistics planning and administration in the same room. Jasmin knows such mixed audiences from her own corporate years and moderates so that shift floor and desk follow the same thread.
From the Mercatorhalle to the Kraftzentrale
For congresses and conferences there is the Mercatorhalle in the CityPalais, while the Theater am Marientor offers a large stage. Things become unmistakable in Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord: the Kraftzentrale and Gebläsehalle give corporate events and galas an industrial backdrop no hotel ballroom can match. At the Innenhafen, the Küppersmühle museum and the waterside spaces frame receptions and evening formats. Rooms like these demand experience with sound, distances and technology. At the International Business Summit, a corporate reference with over 400 participants and 15 sessions across two days, Jasmin showed that she keeps dense programmes in large venues on schedule.
German, English or both
Logistics and steel work internationally: suppliers, customers and project teams sit across countries, and English-speaking guests are a given in many Duisburg rooms. Jasmin moderates entirely in English or in a guided switch between both languages. At the Bosch Global Sales Summit, a corporate reference with over 500 participants from 40 countries, she hosted three days bilingually. The briefing defines which parts of the programme need which language.
Travel and region
From Ludwigsburg it is about 420 kilometres: roughly three and a half to four hours by ICE along the Rhine line to Duisburg central station, around four hours by car. For morning slots and rehearsals, Jasmin travels the day before. Düsseldorf, Essen and the Lower Rhine are close by; an engagement in Duisburg combines well with further dates in the region.
