A launch has exactly one moment

Months of development, weeks of event planning, and then one hour on stage decides how the product lands. The dramaturgy of a launch event builds towards a single moment: the instant the product becomes visible. Everything before it builds tension; everything after it has to turn attention into interest. The host holds that arc. She opens without giving too much away, walks the audience through the backstory, hands over to the reveal and afterwards makes sure applause turns into conversations. A launch that is moderated like an ordinary presentation wastes its only unrepeatable moment.

Demo instead of data sheet

The strongest argument for a product is watching it work. Live demonstrations are the heart of many launch events, and at the same time their biggest risk: technology can fail, timing can slip. Jasmin walks through every demo beforehand with the product team and the show director: what is shown, how long it takes, what plan B looks like. On stage she interviews the experts so that features become benefit. The question is never how many watts the tool has, but what the customer can now do that was impossible before.

Dealers, customers, press, your own team

A launch audience is rarely homogeneous. Dealers want to know how the product sells, customers what it does for them, journalists look for the story, and your own team wants a reason to be proud. In the briefing, Jasmin clarifies who is in the room and which message has to reach whom. Her foundation: more than ten years at Bosch in international sales and marketing, where she was responsible for product introductions from the other side of the stage. With international guests she hosts bilingually, as described on the bilingual moderation page.

From the trade fair stage to your own launch event

A product launch happens at your own event, on a roadshow or on a trade fair stage; for the latter, see the trade fair host page. If the launch is aimed at invited customers and partners, the client event moderation page is worth a look. The Bosch Power Tools Innovation Day is listed as a project under references.

Frequently asked questions

What does product launch moderation cost?
It depends on scope and preparation: a compact launch with one stage is priced differently from a full day event with demos, interviews and a press area. After the briefing you receive a written offer with travel costs listed separately.
How deeply does she need to know the product?
Deeply enough to moderate benefit instead of a data sheet. Before the event she works through the product, the target groups and the agreed wording, and clarifies technical terms with your team. The technical depth comes from your experts on stage; she asks the questions your customers would ask.
What happens if a live demo fails?
Then the pre-agreed plan B kicks in: a recorded video, a conversation with the engineer, a jump in the running order. What matters is that the host absorbs the failure calmly instead of commenting on it. That is exactly why every demo is rehearsed and discussed in advance.
Will she sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, of course. For product launches, confidentiality before the date is the rule, not the exception. Briefing documents, product details and embargo periods stay under wraps until the launch.
Can the launch run bilingually?
Yes. With international dealers or press she hosts in English or switches between English and German, so the reveal lands with everyone at the same time and nobody waits for a translation.
How much lead time does a booking need?
As soon as the launch date is fixed, the moderation should be too: two to four months of lead time are common. That leaves room for product familiarisation, demo rehearsals and coordination with the show director and press team.
