Jasmin Wölke hosts events in Karlsruhe in English and German: conferences, corporate events, trade fair stages and galas. She is based in Ludwigsburg, about an hour away, and brings more than ten years of leadership experience from Bosch, SAP and Volkswagen.
A technology city with an alert audience
Karlsruhe is a city of developers, researchers and lawyers. The KIT combines a university with large scale research, and a dense IT and software scene connects through the CyberForum. dm-drogerie markt and EnBW run their businesses from here, while Atruvia builds the IT of the cooperative banks. With the Federal Constitutional Court and the Federal Court of Justice, the city is known as the residence of law, and it carries the title UNESCO City of Media Arts. Whoever takes a stage here speaks to people who listen closely and value precision. Empty phrases get spotted faster than elsewhere. Jasmin suits this audience: she comes from the corporate world herself and translates between technology, business and stage.
Conference at the Festplatz, trade fair in Rheinstetten
For conferences and congresses the city offers the congress centre at the Festplatz, with halls such as the Gartenhalle and the Konzerthaus. Multi-day programmes with parallel sessions are Jasmin's core business: she guided the International Business Summit, a corporate reference, across two days with more than 400 participants and 15 sessions in German and English. Out in Rheinstetten sits the Messe Karlsruhe with the dm-arena, home to events such as LEARNTEC, IT-TRANS and REHAB. Exhibitors book her for stage programmes at their stand; other companies book in-house exhibitions and customer days at their own site. At the Bosch Power Tools Innovation Day she hosted six product launches with live demos.
Evenings at the ZKM, summer at the palace
For festive occasions Karlsruhe offers unusual settings: the ZKM with event spaces in a historic industrial building, the Tollhaus at the old slaughterhouse, the Gartenhalle for large parties, and in summer the palace gardens. Jasmin hosted the Leadership Excellence Awards as an evening gala with 250 guests and ten awards. Award ceremonies, anniversaries and Christmas parties all need the same core: honours with warmth, a schedule that holds, and a tone that fits the company. In December the halls compete with the Christkindlesmarkt, so early requests pay off.
One hour away: a home game
The short journey changes the planning. The venue walkthrough fits into the event morning, there are no accommodation costs, and half-day formats or short notice dates are easy to arrange. The preliminary talk can happen in person instead of via video. English is part of Karlsruhe: in IT and research it is the working language of many teams. At the Bosch Global Sales Summit, Jasmin led three days bilingually with more than 500 participants from 40 countries.
