Jasmin Wölke hosts events in Essen in German and English: congresses, conferences, corporate events and galas. The conference moderator brings more than ten years of leadership experience from Bosch, SAP and Volkswagen and is bookable across the entire Ruhr region.
Germany's energy capital, dense with headquarters
Few German cities pack so many corporate headquarters into so little space: RWE and E.ON run the energy business from Essen, Evonik speciality chemicals, joined by thyssenkrupp, Hochtief, Brenntag, Aldi Nord and the Funke media group. The University of Duisburg-Essen and its university hospital add research and medicine. Anyone planning a town hall, a specialist conference or a leadership day here faces a corporate audience: people who know strategy processes, reorganisations and technical language from their own daily work. Jasmin comes from exactly this world. She moderates at eye level with board members and specialist departments because she has lived both perspectives herself.
From the Grugahalle to the Zollverein colliery
For congresses there are the Messe Essen with its Congress Center and the Grugahalle; for festive formats the Philharmonie with the Alfried Krupp Saal. Then there is what makes Essen unmistakable: industrial heritage as a stage. The Colosseum Theater in a former Krupp factory hall and the Zollverein coal mine, a UNESCO World Heritage site with the Grand Hall and the Erich Brost Pavilion, give evening events a setting no hotel ballroom can match. Jasmin handles multi-day programmes routinely: at the International Business Summit, a corporate reference, she hosted two days with more than 400 participants and 15 sessions. The Leadership Excellence Awards, also a corporate reference, saw her guide an evening gala with 250 guests and ten awards.
German, English or both
Essen's corporations operate internationally, and specialist conferences in the energy and chemicals sector regularly draw English-speaking audiences. Jasmin hosts entirely in English or in a guided mix of both languages. At the Bosch Global Sales Summit she led three days bilingually with more than 500 participants from 40 countries. Which programme items need which language is defined in the briefing.
At the heart of the Ruhr region
Essen sits at the centre of a region where the cities flow into one another: Dortmund, Duisburg, Bochum and Düsseldorf are quickly reached, and events draw audiences from across the area. From Ludwigsburg, Jasmin travels by ICE in about three and a half hours, usually on a direct train. For morning events and dress rehearsals she plans to arrive the evening before, so the technical check runs without any rush.
