Four venues, four moods

Bielefeld offers very different rooms for festive evenings. The Rudolf-Oetker-Halle is the city's historic concert hall: its acoustics carry every word, and an orchestral setting makes an evening feel grand. The Lokschuppen brings industrial character, a long hall with plenty of space for stage, tables and dance floor. The Hechelei in the Ravensberger Park tells its own story as a listed building of the former spinning mill, and the Stadthalle takes the large formats. In summer, receptions with a view from the Sparrenburg castle come on top. The moderation adapts to the room: in the concert hall, sentences are allowed to linger; in an industrial hall, the evening needs pace and close coordination with the sound crew so that tributes reach the tables at the back.

Tributes that actually touch people

Festive evenings in Bielefeld often celebrate long loyalty: 25 or 40 years with the company, handovers between generations, awards for teams that carried a project. Such moments do not survive mail merge prose. In the briefing, Jasmin collects one sentence for each honouree that fits only that person, clarifies the pronunciation of every name and arranges the order so the evening builds an arc. At the Leadership Excellence Awards, a corporate reference with 250 guests and ten awards, she gave every tribute its own moment and still kept the schedule: the room stayed with the programme until the end.

Directing the evening between kitchen, band and speeches

A gala has more pacemakers than a conference: the kitchen needs fixed windows, the band its changeovers, the management its speech. Jasmin aligns the running order with venue and crew in advance and keeps the balance on stage: no programme item during the main course, no speech after 10 pm, surprise moments placed where attention peaks. How such an evening is built is shown in Gala running order and programme; for awards, see the award ceremony running order. All pages about the city are on the Bielefeld city page.

Frequently asked questions

Does she host bilingual gala evenings?
Yes. When international guests are in the room, she switches between German and English following an agreed language plan, without doubling the evening.
How does she prepare tributes?
In the briefing she collects one carrying sentence per person, clarifies names and pronunciation and matches the order to the dramaturgy of the evening.
Does she work with band, DJ and crew?
Yes. Before the evening she walks through the running order with venue, sound and music so changeovers fall into breaks and no act starts into silence.
Does she stay until the end of the evening?
She stays until the official part is complete, including late programme items. The transition into the open part of the night is moderated cleanly.
Do the Lokschuppen or the Hechelei suit a gala?
Yes. Both industrial venues carry festive evenings well but need close coordination of sound and light. Exactly that is planned in advance.
What does gala moderation cost in Bielefeld?
Scope, preparation and the length of the evening determine the price. After the briefing you receive a written offer with a fixed fee.
