Jasmin Wölke moderates events in Bochum in German and English: conferences, congresses, corporate events and galas. The conference moderator brings more than ten years of leadership experience from Bosch, SAP and Volkswagen and works across the central Ruhr area.
Housing, energy, IT security: the city's industries
Bochum has quietly repositioned itself. Vonovia runs its housing business from here, Aral its fuel station business, GLS Bank its banking house and Knappschaft-Bahn-See its social insurance. On top of that sits an IT security scene with a long history: G DATA, the Horst Görtz Institute at the Ruhr University and the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy all work in the same city. On Mark 51°7, technology and research facilities are growing where cars used to be built. Anyone planning a conference or town hall here has service technicians, analysts and administration in the same room. Jasmin knows such mixed audiences from her own corporate years and moderates so that every group feels addressed.
RuhrCongress, Jahrhunderthalle, Zeche
For congresses and annual kick-offs, the RuhrCongress is the city's venue. The Jahrhunderthalle gives galas and large formats an industrial architecture that also hosts the Ruhrtriennale in late summer. The Zeche Bochum offers evening formats in a former colliery building, and the Mining Museum frames receptions in a museum setting. Such spaces have their own rules: reverb, long distances, technology inside a listed monument. At the International Business Summit, a corporate reference with more than 400 participants and 15 sessions across two days, Jasmin proved that dense programmes stay on schedule even in large rooms.
German, English or both
IT security and research work internationally: papers are published in English, teams recruit worldwide, and in many Bochum event rooms German departments sit next to international guests. Jasmin moderates fully in English or in a guided switch between both languages. At the Bosch Global Sales Summit, a corporate reference with more than 500 participants from 40 countries, she led three days bilingually through the programme. The language plan for your event is set in the briefing.
Travel and region
Bochum is around 400 kilometres from Ludwigsburg. The train from Stuttgart takes about three and a half to four hours, the car around four. For morning slots and rehearsals, Jasmin travels the day before; this is stated in the offer from the start. Essen, Dortmund and Herne are minutes away, so several dates in the region combine well.
